I’ve known of this fight of The Front Range cities and West Slope Rivers for a long time. Littke victories here, losses there. Complicated i understand with plans for Denver to divert Green River water, or so I’ve read. Should be a way to supply the metro dwellers with water, maybe starting with conservation of this resource?

A good direction would be to stop issuing building permits for new construction if they don’t have a sustainable water source. After all, we do live in a high altitude desert. There’s only so much water to go around.
